An unexpectedly hard shot by Shao Yang Ming in the 15th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Lusi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Real Edebäck FC's Holger Ålberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Real Edebäck FC from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Segundo Limofer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Real Edebäck FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Venezuela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Roger Jakobsson 56 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. The throw-in from Segundo Limofer in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. 60 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Holger Ålberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roger Jakobsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. 68 minutes into the match, Real Edebäck FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Holger Ålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Beckström, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Real Edebäck FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Holger Ålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Lusi went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Shao Yang Ming charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shao Yang Ming the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd minute, Shao Yang Ming hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the match, Real Edebäck FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Holger Ålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Real Edebäck FC's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Ålberg came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Edebäck FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
