The supporters of Bolivia booed when LUPI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Renzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Alex Abbagnale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Camilo Freixa was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Julio Chicote missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 91 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Bernardo Orsini right hand side. Beppe Longo scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Camilo Freixa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew the final whistle, LUPI could leave the field as winners, despite Bolivia having more of the ball for most of the match.
