Hami Tuna made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Bastard came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Band Of Brothers getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Søren Stålnacke hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Band Of Brothers's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Hami Tuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute. A well done corner resulted in Felix Montenegro drilling the ball in to score 1-2 behind Band Of Brothers's goalkeeper. Hami Tuna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Band Of Brothers's Hami Tuna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Holmgren in the 42nd minute of the match. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hami Tuna having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Band Of Brothers's Lars Granum got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bobby Bastard made a kick off. When Carl Caniggia came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Band Of Brothers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carl Caniggia couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Band Of Brothers's Bobby Bastard got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 62 played minutes Band Of Brothers got a freekick which was hit by Søren Stålnacke. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Bastard came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Band Of Brothers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Lövkvist to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bobby Bastard, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Band Of Brothers's Vilgot Falk was substituted for Vilgot Jansson. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Patrik Billvall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Band Of Brothers's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Billvall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bobby Bastard came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anders Holmgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hami Tuna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play. Hami Tuna was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-3. Band Of Brothers made a substitution. Evgenij Davydov replaced Carl Caniggia. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hami Tuna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evgenij Davydov in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Band Of Brothers throughout the match.
