Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukasz Rukszcz, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Rukszcz in the 6th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Francesco Andreoli kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Fan Xi Hong to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Peru booed when Squadra de Pippe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislovas Skripkauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Squadra de Pippe's Filippo Massa was substituted for Fabio Bosco.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filippo Massa was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Filippo Massa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Noboa. Filippo Massa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The throw-in from Emilio Porta in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Fan Xi Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 57th minute of the match. Fan Xi Hong came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Milagros Fraga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eliseo Mina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luz Tejedor struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Fan Xi Hong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 68th minute of play forced Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Fan Xi Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Squadra de Pippe's goalkeeper Fan Xi Hong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Peru's Emmanuel Reyes got a free kick in the 95th minute. Although Peru had been in control for most of the match, Squadra de Pippe still came away with the win.
