Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Flavius Pantea started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Flavius Pantea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramon María Quintana hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Aad Zoethout made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's goalkeeper Aad Zoethout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flavius Pantea's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 16 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olof Hegg who took care of the corner kick. FC Kirchroa's Aad Zoethout proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save FC Kirchroa from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Kirchroa's Joep Jochemsen got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Daniel Zorita shot from long distance in the 24th minute, but Aad Zoethout was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aad Zoethout breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flavius Pantea took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's goalkeeper Aad Zoethout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aad Zoethout having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Aad Zoethout made a huge save. 37 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's goalkeeper Aad Zoethout had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 39th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. In the 43rd minute, Adriaan van Schaik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Aad Zoethout tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavius Pantea in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. A collision led to FC Kirchroa getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Olof Hegg hit a great ball. Aad Zoethout came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, FC Kirchroa's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Aad Zoethout reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aad Zoethout showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Aad Zoethout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Primitivo Andino made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. Aad Zoethout didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aad Zoethout was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
