Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Otoniel Mondragon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otoniel Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Kaysersheim getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sam-Lucas Mertens hit a great ball. Loid Vrints received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. When Loid Vrints fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kaysersheim's protests and gave Loid Vrints a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kaysersheim getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Loid Vrints hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Sam-Lucas Mertens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otoniel Mondragon having to interfere. Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Loid Vrints was the one to do the kick off. Abraham Alguacil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 50thth minute, Otoniel Mondragon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Otoniel Mondragon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Erik-Jan Verheugen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute of the match, Tomas Berganza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Otoniel Mondragon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th play minute Tomas Berganza came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Otoniel Mondragon. 2-1. Loid Vrints scored 3-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Sam-Lucas Mertens notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam-Lucas Mertens in the 72nd minute of play. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Kaysersheim's Loid Vrints. But to his dismay, Loid Vrints quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Panama's Tomas Berganza slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Otoniel Mondragon. That made the score 5-2 after 78 minutes of play. After having played for 80 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Abraham Alguacil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Otoniel Mondragon. The goal made the score 5-3. Sam-Lucas Mertens hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Abraham Alguacil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Kaysersheim's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Otoniel Mondragon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otoniel Mondragon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kaysersheim fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
