After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Emiliano Pancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 37th minute of play forced FLAMENGO San Sebastian's goalkeeper Angelo Fresnos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A throw-in in the 41st minute of the game was made by Primitivo Andino with Cristian Sancho as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Fresnos saved FLAMENGO San Sebastian from getting behind. In the 45th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
