The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundson Ross got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marjus Laçka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abram Sarmiento spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of ❇ᛗᛁᛏᚱᚺᚨᚾᛞᛁᚱ❇'s goal. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundson Ross in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundson Ross in the 80th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
