During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. 13 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadej Pogačar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tadej Pogačar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julian Murillo went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Anthon Melin kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Tadej Pogačar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of the match. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Moisil in the 28th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Emmanuel Reyes managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Henrik Larsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Decathlon Dudes's zone, Julian Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadej Pogačar came out of the goal and Julian Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Larsson in the 39th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthon Melin hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henrik Larsson made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadej Pogačar was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 56th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Joaquin Prats heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 60 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Tadej Pogačar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Decathlon Dudes! Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. In the 91st minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadej Pogačar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Decathlon Dudes's Anthon Melin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Gallo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tadej Pogačar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 99th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadej Pogačar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Decathlon Dudes for a fine match.
