Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Black horses's Cipriano Sauveur started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Sauveur in the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Valdis Felbergs in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joakim Kämpe in the 13th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Valdis Felbergs successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdis Felbergs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 37th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Black horses's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Peru's Alonso Berganza getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 43 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by George Maradona. After having played for 45 minutes, Eliseo Mina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Mina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano Sauveur blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Noboa having to make a save. Cipriano Sauveur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Valdis Felbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play. Black horses's Atso Joenväärä was substituted for Jakub Swierczok. A throw-in in the 68th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 71 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cipriano Sauveur. Black horses's Valdis Felbergs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute of play. Julian Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valdis Felbergs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julian Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. When Peru's Julian Murillo in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black horses's goalie prevented a goal. Cipriano Sauveur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save.
