Fokke Meijeringh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harold Rodenboog's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Arif Ensar İsmet's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. De Kasteelheren's Fokke Meijeringh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fokke Meijeringh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inácio Amaral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Inácio Amaral sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute, Inácio Amaral reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thiago Pliego. The goal made the score 2-0. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fokke Meijeringh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Chile's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute. A nice corner shot did that Xavier Figueroa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fokke Meijeringh quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 47 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdi Vorenkamp came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Anthony Hillen kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 51 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Fokke Meijeringh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. In the 54th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Inácio Amaral scored 3-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fokke Meijeringh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 69th minute, the referee gave Chile a penalty. Mariano Lacasa looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Fokke Meijeringh. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Harold Rodenboog stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Harold Rodenboog tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fokke Meijeringh came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Fokke Meijeringh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 97th minute of play. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
