Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Bruno Mazza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the U.P. Gavellese defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Mazza. The U.P. Gavellese fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Mazza should have stopped the shot. U.P. Gavellese made a substitution. Fortunato Lemme replaced Rob Flynn. Bruno Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when U.P. Gavellese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Ariando didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Mazza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bruno Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, U.P. Gavellese's Felix Ariando got a free kick in the 29th minute. Bruno Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Volta, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Luis Andino scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Mazza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessio Volta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, U.P. Gavellese's goalkeeper Bruno Mazza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 55th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute, Ricardo Kaká ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruno Mazza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 64thth minute of the game Ricardo Kaká who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U.P. Gavellese's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Elpidio Macias in the 65th minute. The corner led U.P. Gavellese's Elpidio Macias to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 68th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessio Volta in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Alessio Volta came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessio Volta in the 84th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Alessio Volta made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Kaká in the 94th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elpidio Macias hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than U.P. Gavellese.
