Cassius Byrne received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marta Pressley came out and tried to block the shot, but Cassius Byrne slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Orlo in the 9th minute of the match. Marta Pressley was a little too slow when Monty Rogers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. 19 minutes into the match, Hugo Bela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Day. USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Bela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Marta Pressley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cassius Byrne got free with Marta Pressley in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo Ros in the 36th minute of play. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marta Pressley having to interfere. Marta Pressley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monty Rogers in the 43rd minute of the match. Zach Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marta Pressley having to interfere. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Bela in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugo Bela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marta Pressley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 57th minute of play. Cassius Byrne scored 3-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marta Pressley, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Mcdonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. Marta Pressley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Baker in the 79th minute of play. In the 84th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Pressley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marta Pressley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marta Pressley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marta Pressley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to USA getting a freekick after 94 minutes play.
