The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's Alessandro Corada managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Igor Bališ in the 16 minute of the game. Willian Cuesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Žigmund Csontos in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Recai Nusrettin in the 23rd minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Štefan Semeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Willian Cuesta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Žigmund Csontos, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on ARES FC DeusDeFutbol's corner Roman Garci fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Štefan Semeno quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otsando Fierro in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Štefan Semeno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Štefan Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otsando Fierro in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, AFK Petržalka's Žigmund Csontos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Willian Cuesta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Zedník in the 36th minute of the match. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsando Fierro in the 39th minute of play. Igor Bališ scored 3-0 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Willian Cuesta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Roman Garci made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Zedník in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willian Cuesta saved ARES FC DeusDeFutbol from getting behind. The AFK Petržalka players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
