Atletico Kyperountas were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sharma Dorado took the corner. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Ralondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Atletico Kyperountas's goalkeeper Matias Ralondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Tejedor. 26 minutes into the game, Atletico Kyperountas's Ryszard Bronicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Atletico Kyperountas's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Matias Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sharma Dorado in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Eliseo Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Noboa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Wyrzykowski went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 44th minute, Abdulvahit Kaşif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Peru players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atletico Kyperountas were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Han Zhen Gang threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Matias Ralondo came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Luz Tejedor. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Matias Ralondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Jan Wyrzykowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Kyperountas made a substitution. Kajetan Pusiak replaced Kong Hui Yang. After a rather tough play, Atletico Kyperountas's Jan Wyrzykowski got a free kick in the 67th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matias Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 73rd minute of the match. Han Zhen Gang made in the 75th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Abdulvahit Kaşif immediately put the ball in play. Matias Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 81st minute, Joaquin Prats left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Wyrzykowski in the 88th minute of play. Matias Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 90th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Jan Wyrzykowski notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Peru's Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Atletico Kyperountas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atletico Kyperountas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
