Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, KEFERZİ.GENÇLİKSPOR's Santiago Torres got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When KEFERZİ.GENÇLİKSPOR's Andre Mosselveld in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Agustín Saelices struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Santiago Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After 36 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andre Mosselveld in the 38th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Santiago Torres made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Mosselveld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Santiago Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. KEFERZİ.GENÇLİKSPOR's attentive Avni Binalp managed to snatch the ball when Primitivo Andino made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Agustín Saelices left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. In the 64th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
