Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lv Lei in the 14th minute of the match. Lv Lei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Halil Utku Evvah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Utku Evvah having to interfere. 27 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Halil Utku Evvah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Lv Lei fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KOO Tigers's protests and gave Lv Lei a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Lv Lei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of KOO Tigers booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Halil Utku Evvah having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Lv Lei had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lv Lei was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lv Lei made a kick off. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lv Lei in the 76th minute of play. After 79 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Seyfi Akbayrak. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lv Lei's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. The audience was convinced that Lv Lei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because KOO Tigers had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
