Luiz Guilherme Simões came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frascone fc's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Edmundo Espiga scored to the left of an out of position Luiz Guilherme Simões, making the score, 1-0. Luiz Guilherme Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. A well placed Edmundo Espiga short distance shot in the 30th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 38 minutes into the match, Frascone fc's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Luiz Guilherme Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Luiz Guilherme Simões didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Frascone fc's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Simões, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Guilherme Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After having played for 53 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Guilherme Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 55th minute. Luca Espinar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Guilherme Simões. Frascone fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luiz Guilherme Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Luiz Guilherme Simões stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 66th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Simões having to interfere. Aftandil Seyidov made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Guilherme Simões saved Frascone fc from getting behind. Frascone fc's Luiz Guilherme Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 82nd minute of play. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milagros Cabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Luiz Guilherme Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Frascone fc getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Felice Masciarelli hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
