Leonardo Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Štefan Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Štefan Semeno narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Bališ got free with Gonzo Maradona in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gonzo Maradona made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Tomáš Požgaj sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute, Leonardo Tipi made a precise shot to the right of Štefan Semeno. AFK Petržalka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, AFK Petržalka's Viktor Srnka got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute, Vernon De Marco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Leonardo Tipi made a precise shot to the right of Štefan Semeno. AFK Petržalka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3.

Les Tigres made a substitution. Edvard Võsandi replaced Sermet Erva. Les Tigres's Ömer-Asaf Güneş was substituted for Leonardo Tipi. The wind increased when Tomáš Požgaj made the kick off in the second half. Gonzo Maradona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balázs Borbély in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Edvard Võsandi came free, but Štefan Semeno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, AFK Petržalka's Michal Hudák nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonzo Maradona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. With a little luck, AFK Petržalka's Štefan Semeno got control of the ball when Ömer-Asaf Güneş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonzo Maradona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Hudák, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Les Tigres walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
