Aloísio Rodrigues was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robert Apelquist showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Nils-Erik Fagrell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Hedkvist's shot from long distance in the 34th minute was not bad at all, but Warren FC - DMZ's Aloísio Rodrigues knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Aloísio Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Karl-Åke Sandström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Bermudo in the 39th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes Warren FC - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Meira. Aloísio Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Erik Fagrell in the 44th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ginlabbet Stockholm's Bruno Montrel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aloísio Rodrigues. That made the score 2-1 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dragan Numanović to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Domingos Da Guía was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Warren FC - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ginlabbet Stockholm the free kick. In the 51st minute, Hélio Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Aloísio Rodrigues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dragan Numanović in the 60th minute of play forced Warren FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Aloísio Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Ginlabbet Stockholm's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Sandström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Bermudo. Aloísio Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Montrel in the 66th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Warren FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Apelquist came free, but Aloísio Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Sandrinho Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st match minute, Warren FC - DMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Meira to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Március Péntek in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aloísio Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Március Péntek sped through Warren FC - DMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aloísio Rodrigues. In the 88th minute Robert Apelquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute Nils-Erik Fagrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aloísio Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Március Péntek in the 95th minute of the match. Ginlabbet Stockholm walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
