Fedele Bruno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 42nd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Fighting Burning Hearts's attentive Enzo Grieco managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 50th minute of the game. In the 52nd minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fedele Bruno. Fedele Bruno yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute.
