In the 14th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 17 in the game by Aytuğ Çağa from a close distance when the talented Rolando Noboa managed to make a qualified save. Peru's players were relieved. Fluffy White Bunnies's Guido Rodas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alonso Berganza, made in the 57th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
