Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Westbam's Tony Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 9th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Westbam's Teofil Skaradowski. But to his dismay, Teofil Skaradowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Westbam's Juliusz Gorzkiewicz got a free kick in the 14th minute. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Tony Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 31 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. In the 33rd minute, Teodoro Rocha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Rocha came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Teodoro Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. Teodoro Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Czeslaw Furgat fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westbam's protests and gave Czeslaw Furgat a yellow card for diving instead. Czeslaw Furgat kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Klement Pawlak made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yavuz Selim Altunışık went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Pawlak in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Zoido. Tony Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 80th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Klement Pawlak took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. When Costa Rica's Axel Tasis in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westbam's goalie prevented a goal. If Teodoro Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 93rd minute, Teodoro Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Westbam got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Buinton. When the final whistle sounded Westbam left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
