Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chiquito Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Chiquito Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chiquito Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After 23 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquito Flores was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 26th match minute, FK Eldema Mstišov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Opaina to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Chiquito Flores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Šlapák during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the FK Eldema Mstišov defense, Luca Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquito Flores. The FK Eldema Mstišov fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquito Flores should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FK Eldema Mstišov's zone, Luca Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquito Flores came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Leonard Kubánek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dante Lacasa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Chiquito Flores made a huge save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Šlapák in the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Eldema Mstišov's goalkeeper Chiquito Flores, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chiquito Flores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 73rd minute. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Mexico's Luca Rouco to fire away a dangerous shot which Chiquito Flores despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, FK Eldema Mstišov's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Chiquito Flores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Joel Gaona got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
