Westbam's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edmundo Espiga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Westbam's Teodoro Rocha. But to his dismay, Teodoro Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The Westbam fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Honduras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
