The supporters of FK Eldema Mstišov booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. When Felix Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felix Montenegro couldn't finish the play. In the 91stth minute of the game Gabriel Šlapák who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ecuador players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FK Eldema Mstišov.
