After 5 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Cristian Sancho shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for ФК КрасноДАР's Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov to catch but Cristian Sancho was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Benjamin Artmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Agustín Saelices. But to his dismay, Agustín Saelices quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. A hard shot 54 in the game by Daniel Zorita from a close distance when the talented Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov managed to make a qualified save. ФК КрасноДАР's players were relieved. In the 56th minute Andrey Savischev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov came out and tried to block the shot, but Agustín Saelices slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 58th minute. Celso Moreno hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 65 played minutes ФК КрасноДАР got a freekick which was hit by Celso Moreno. In the 66th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 71 minutes, Cristian Sancho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the ФК КрасноДАР players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of ФК КрасноДАР booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. ФК КрасноДАР's Chris de Kok was substituted for Benjamin Artmann. Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, ФК КрасноДАР's Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov. The goal made the score 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Aleksandr Abdrakhmanov in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrey Savischev in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ФК КрасноДАР throughout the match.
