After 9 minutes, Eliseo Noboa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Cascade Park West players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Waldo Renteria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the game, Jamar Orlinsky cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute Rolland Hobbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cascade Park West's Amir Lee was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benito Sanz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 20 minutes into the game, Cascade Park West's Allen Dalton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Cascade Park West's Jamar Orlinsky in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Cascade Park West booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Ferrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cascade Park West's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amir Lee in the 37th minute. The corner led to Cascade Park West's Allen Dalton getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 40th minute. Amir Lee struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascade Park West. 45 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cascade Park West the free kick. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Allen Dalton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amir Lee's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Benito Sanz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. Waldo Renteria came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Benito Sanz could save by the left post. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Amir Lee showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 64 minute of play. After 69th play minutes Allen Dalton shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Amir Lee struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cascade Park West. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Waldo Renteria sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claude Joyner, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Rashad Richardson scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-6. Cascade Park West made a substitution. Isidro Singleton replaced Rashad Richardson. Wang Sha Qian was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 96 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. When the final whistle sounded Cascade Park West left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
