After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

ALIDIM FOR EVER's Gaueko Nanclares was substituted for Matias Gelmiro. 54 minutes into the match, ALIDIM FOR EVER's goalkeeper Herminio Gizon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milagros Fraga. After 89 minutes ALIDIM FOR EVER's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseo Mina who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Milagros Fraga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Herminio Gizon quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, ALIDIM FOR EVER's Jairo Selatse got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Milagros Fraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Gizon having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
