Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Gabriel Grubb made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb. Gabriel Grubb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Salvador Gisbert in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by HEJA ESLÖV's George Fors. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Algot Abrahamsson was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Gabriel Grubb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, HEJA ESLÖV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Fors to maneuver through the defense. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 83 minutes, Tomas Illescas made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. HEJA ESLÖV's Gabriel Grubb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by George Fors during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to HEJA ESLÖV getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. George Fors hit a great ball. Patricio Costa scored 4-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabriel Grubb, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
