Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ervin Talbot went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Scotty Haynes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Merrill Corcoran during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merrill Corcoran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles Knapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Charles Knapp came out and tried to block the shot, but Patricio Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 34th minute. Cole Whitfield thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Charles Knapp, a very annoying self made goal in the 55th minute which led to 3-1. Charles Knapp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 65 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Davis Gauthier. Cascade Park West's Charles Knapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 68th minute of play. Charles Knapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute of the match. Charles Knapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Merrill Corcoran. A collision led to Cascade Park West getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Merrill Corcoran hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Merrill Corcoran kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Venezuela had played much better football throughout.
