But to his dismay, Felix Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Agustín Saelices came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Saelices couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanko Pirov having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Yanko Pirov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Yanko Pirov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yanko Pirov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. The corner led GHOSTFACES ON FUTBOL's Gaizka Jaraba to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
