Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Rodolfo Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Tacheros OFF's Rodolfo Anaya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattin Solbeida in the 26th minute of play. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Rodolfo Anaya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 32 minutes into the match, Tacheros OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Rodolfo Anaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 34th minute of play forced Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rodolfo Anaya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Tacheros OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Iztal to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tacheros OFF's goalkeeper Rodolfo Anaya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Rodolfo Anaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Tacheros OFF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
