Barış İdilkurt came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Seco slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barış İdilkurt having to interfere. Ümit Sarih struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DerbedeR spor. 27 minutes into the match, Ümit Sarih had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ümit Sarih was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Aybars Tugay kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the game Gökay Tanberk made a throw-in which Liu Xu Yan played forward. After having played for 40 minutes, Maximiliano Escribano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Escribano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Escribano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barış İdilkurt having to interfere. In the 46th minute Ümit Sarih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Francisco Seco made the kick off in the second half. When Ümit Sarih fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DerbedeR spor's protests and gave Ümit Sarih a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, DerbedeR spor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ümit Sarih to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Jorge Sainz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Sarih in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gökcan Bedi in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 58th minute. Gökcan Bedi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. 59 minutes into the match, Gökcan Bedi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso, 2-3. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gökcan Bedi's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 69th minute, Gökcan Bedi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gökcan Bedi in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Günalp Rıfkı hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Sarih, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Liu Xu Yan hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Liu Xu Yan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Sarih in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 89th minute of play forced DerbedeR spor's goalkeeper Barış İdilkurt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Gökcan Bedi tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Uruguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
