The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Wawrzyniec Skrzypek put in a rough tackle. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for DOJLIDY! In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Venezuela. Tomas Illescas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Radomir Basinski. 0-1. Radomir Koperski kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Radomir Basinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bogdan Dzerwucki got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Bogdan Dzerwucki sent off a good shot on target. Bogdan Dzerwucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Mondrowski came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Bogdan Dzerwucki sent off a good shot on target. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radomir Basinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Mondrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radomir Basinski having to interfere. Tomas Illescas charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Illescas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. A hard shot 67 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Radomir Basinski managed to make a qualified save. DOJLIDY's players were relieved. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radomir Basinski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DOJLIDY's Radomir Basinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save DOJLIDY from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Venezuela could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DOJLIDY throughout the match.
