Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-8 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Benicio Perfecto made the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Tomas Viviano made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Viviano. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-14. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Tomas Viviano, making the score, 0-15. With a little luck, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Tomas Viviano got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Viviano was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Luis Andino capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luis Andino really showed his touch with that goal: 0-16. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Tomas Viviano in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Sebastián Puig took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Viviano. Tomas Viviano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-18. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Defensores del Tiki Tiki.
