Muhammad Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Rostholm in the 10th minute of the match. Nichlas Vesterdahl made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Wen Ke Yan sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 80th match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nik Frisendal to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Muhammad Chan managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Randers A.F.C.'s Grisha Mbappè fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 90 minutes into the game, Grisha Mbappè lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Muhammad Chan. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stars's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Børge Buhr was slow to take the kick. During this time Randers A.F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Børge Buhr made a great header on Randers A.F.C.'s corner, it was just that Stars's Muhammad Chan managed to reach the ball for a save. Cláudio Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nichlas Vesterdahl having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Stars fully deserved thier win.
