The goal made the score 2-0. 邓瑜平 charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 邓瑜平 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 31 minutes into the game, one of Wool United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomas Illescas scored 2-2 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 邵荣剑, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Wool United's 肖强希 got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 邵荣剑 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邵荣剑 having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邓亮平 in the 61st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 邓亮平 in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wool United's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 邵荣剑 came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but 邵荣剑 made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 76th minute. 袁强崇 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. 邵荣剑 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wool United's 邓亮平 got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 邵荣剑 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. 邵荣剑 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Wool United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Venezuela were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
