Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mariano Lacasa kicked off to start the match. Mikolaj Jerzyk came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The Newcastle United fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Jerzyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newcastle United's goalkeeper Mikolaj Jerzyk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adam Pacholewski 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Mikolaj Jerzyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. In the 28th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Jerzyk having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk. Mikolaj Jerzyk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Newcastle United defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Jerzyk. The Newcastle United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Jerzyk should have stopped the shot. When Chile's Mariano Lacasa in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newcastle United's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thomas Vollmar made a kick off. Mariano Lacasa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Mikolaj Jerzyk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mariano Lacasa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mikolaj Jerzyk firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Pacholewski in the 56th minute of the match. Chile were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Newcastle United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariano Lacasa took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Orlando Casaus drilling the ball in to score 2-4 behind Newcastle United's goalkeeper. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Vollmar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Indiano. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mikolaj Jerzyk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Newcastle United's Mikolaj Jerzyk got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Pankracy Malicki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Pankracy Malicki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Jerzyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Thomas Vollmar hit a great ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 92nd minute of the match. Chile played a much better game than Newcastle United and deserved their victory. The Newcastle United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
