But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Atlético Ciclon getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Cordaro Abalos hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Despite being the better team, Club Atlético Ciclon failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
