An annoying self made goal, 1-0. Steve Van Linthaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Alfonso Massimi threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Rising Stars's Axell Van De Gehuchte quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Remy Stas struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bernardo Fanfarone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Rising Stars. In the 18th minute of the match, Aybar Hasret got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ignace Himschoot was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute, Rossanese's Ciccio Santilli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With a left leg Ignace Himschoot saved FC Rising Stars from getting behind. 43 minutes in the game, Ciccio Santilli fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ignace Himschoot having to interfere. Didi Cornut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignace Himschoot having to interfere. Michael Koppen kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Rising Stars getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Johannes De Mare hit a great ball. Aybar Hasret shot from long distance in the 47th minute, but Ignace Himschoot was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. During the 47th minute of the match Remy Stas completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Remy Stas a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 48 played minutes FC Rising Stars got a freekick which was hit by Remy Stas.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stefan Boegaerts was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Rising Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Didi Cornut came free, but Ignace Himschoot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignace Himschoot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
