The supporters of FK Amur booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Dyachkov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the match, Colombia's Kevin Mastache sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Dyachkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 31stth minute of the game Konstantin Lukyanovich who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bogdan Dyachkov saved FK Amur from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute of play forced FK Amur's goalkeeper Bogdan Dyachkov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 47th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Dyachkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 78th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Mastache to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Igor Romanchenko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Klim Lukin scored 4-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ignacio Mastache came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bogdan Dyachkov could save by the left post. 93 minutes into the game, Ignacio Mastache recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bogdan Dyachkov. Ignacio Mastache showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-3. FK Amur's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
