A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montes heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lertxun Urquiaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Lertxun Urquiaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of the match. After 15 minutes Hadidas Fútbol Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Daniel Zorita drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Hadidas Fútbol Club's goalkeeper. Lertxun Urquiaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Montenegro in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lertxun Urquiaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Ecuador's Felix Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hadidas Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliz Bargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Lertxun Urquiaga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Lertxun Urquiaga in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lertxun Urquiaga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Lertxun Urquiaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes Hadidas Fútbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Posse. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lertxun Urquiaga. That made the score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eyüp Demiray, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Hadidas Fútbol Club.
