If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Arne Apelquist hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul-Émile Bolé in the 13th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Rouco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul-Émile Bolé's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Paul-Émile Bolé received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Apelquist in the 25th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, CD Zhizhio's Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sven-Arne Apelquist, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Arne Apelquist in the 30th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Mexico's Luca Zorita made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stasio Kowalski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul-Émile Bolé in the 36th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul-Émile Bolé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Sven-Arne Apelquist made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stasio Kowalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Stasio Kowalski could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Chao Bin in the 60th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yu Chao Bin in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 61st minute of play forced CD Zhizhio's goalkeeper Stasio Kowalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. CD Zhizhio made a substitution. Azconzábal Machuca replaced Jairo Carral. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a free kick in the 66th minute. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul-Émile Bolé in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Paul-Émile Bolé notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul-Émile Bolé, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Alberto Tafalla reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stasio Kowalski. The goal made the score 1-2. A collision led to CD Zhizhio getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Sven-Arne Apelquist hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
