Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Guter got free with Rolando Noboa in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Globalización's Dante Frascuelo. Dante Frascuelo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dante Frascuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Frascuelo saved Globalización from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Peru's zone, Dionisio Guter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal and Dionisio Guter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Frascuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of the match. Francisco Ospin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Globalización's goal looked a bit too open when Milagros Fraga came free, but Dante Frascuelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Globalización's Edelmiro Reno was substituted for Alejandro Ascencio. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Guter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Globalización was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Ospin to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Dante Frascuelo made a huge save. Dante Frascuelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
