In a very dangerous position, a player in Colombia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Pedro Manzanares, was totally fooled by El Fortín de Floresta's Salvador Hats, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Hats got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 25th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Manex in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the El Fortín de Floresta defense, Abram Sarmiento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Orlan. The El Fortín de Floresta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Orlan should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute Santino Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos Orlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Orlan having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 54th minute of play forced El Fortín de Floresta's goalkeeper Santos Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. El Fortín de Floresta's Santos Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abram Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Salvador Hats shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Manzanares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after El Fortín de Floresta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Kevin Mastache fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santos Orlan quite easily take care of the ball. When Ignacio Mastache came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignacio Mastache couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for El Fortín de Floresta.
