Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiquito Flores. The audience thought a goal was coming when Josef Šilha got free with Thiago Pliego in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiquito Flores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. When Gabriel Šlapák fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Eldema Mstišov's protests and gave Gabriel Šlapák a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes FK Eldema Mstišov got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Šlapák. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Guillermo Fontirroig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chiquito Flores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Chile were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Lacasa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd match minute, FK Eldema Mstišov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Šilha to maneuver through the defense. Chiquito Flores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Chiquito Flores to make any attempt to save it. But to his dismay, Alp Akıncıbeyoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 75 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Čeněk Laňka came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leonard Kubánek who took care of the corner kick. FK Eldema Mstišov's Leonard Kubánek was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thiago Pliego in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Šlapák in the 94th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FK Eldema Mstišov manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Chile to win.
