In the 2nd match minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan de Vlieger to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Bergfeldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Bergfeldt came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralph Roeles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan de Vlieger in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. After having played for 23 minutes, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 25 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. After 25 played minutes, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Emiliano Caiola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dante Lacasa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Julias Rascals Apeldoorn reached it. Ralph Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute Zebastian Bergfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles managed to reach the ball for a save. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 36th minute of the match. Ralph Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Roeles having to interfere. Ralph Roeles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
After 50 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Cazalla. 52 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Caiola came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Julias Rascals Apeldoorn from getting a goal against them. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Szegh in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 59th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Jan de Vlieger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan de Vlieger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Lacasa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 64th minute of play forced Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goalkeeper Ralph Roeles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ralph Roeles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 66th minute. Bengt Petersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emiliano Caiola was slow to take the kick. During this time Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Johan Saveneij getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. In the 77thth minute of the game Bengt Petersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 79th minute. Ralph Roeles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 81st minute. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Mexico booed when Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarvi Koop didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 94 minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Norbert Skrzypek tried in the 94th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ralph Roeles a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 0-4. The Julias Rascals Apeldoorn supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
