Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arrigo Carulli in the 5th minute of play. Arrigo Carulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Maritek FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiawuotu Adato didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmondo Lepori came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 13 played minutes, Maritek FC's Adriano Santoro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maritek FC reached it. After 15 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beppe Bassani kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmondo Lepori having to interfere. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Edmondo Lepori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmondo Lepori. Edmondo Lepori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edmondo Lepori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Edmondo Lepori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arrigo Carulli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Edmondo Lepori to make any attempt to save it. After 55 minutes, Luis Andino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Maritek FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 60 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edmondo Lepori. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Ecuador's attack was well implemented in the 67th minute, but when Cristian Sancho was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Maritek FC's goalkeeper Edmondo Lepori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. In the 73rd match minute, Maritek FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiawuotu Adato to maneuver through the defense. After 74 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmondo Lepori came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. In the 76th minute, Chiawuotu Adato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. Edmondo Lepori was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Edmondo Lepori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 85th minute. Arrigo Carulli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmondo Lepori was a little too slow when Luis Andino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 0-9. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
