An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 7th minute of play forced FC Kraków1983's goalkeeper Zenon Niezywy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, FC Kraków1983's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Zenon Niezywy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fryderyk Motowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Bo Bek threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walery Jajecznica got free with Rolando Noboa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Zenon Niezywy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 28th minute of play forced FC Kraków1983's goalkeeper Zenon Niezywy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zenon Niezywy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 30th minute of the match. Peru's Julian Murillo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fryderyk Motowski to make the kick off. Zenon Niezywy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Jajecznica in the 61st minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bo Bek in the 63 minute of the game. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Motowski in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Milagros Fraga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zenon Niezywy was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zenon Niezywy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Kraków1983's Karl Dahlberg was substituted for Izydor Puzio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play forced FC Kraków1983's goalkeeper Zenon Niezywy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 77 minutes FC Kraków1983's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. Zenon Niezywy made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Julian Murillo sent off a good shot on target. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Kraków1983.
